Challenges


Each of us face challenges all of our lives. Supposedly, that is what makes us stronger people, better leaders, more flexible, and many other terms I could mention. I have been on the Seminole County School Board since 1990, as many of you know. We have had several budget crisis years, 1992-1993, 2001-2002, 2007-2008, and now 2008-2009. The district has always been able to continue to do a superior job of educating students, maintaining programs and facilities, while providing increases in salaries (some a lot smaller than they should have been!)
